Rally Finland
1️⃣0️⃣ days to go! 🤩It’s the last straight before Secto Rally Finland and this leads us to the years 2000s. So much has happened and so much will happen more! In 2000, for the 50th edition of Rally Finland, Marcus Gronholm scores the first of his seven record-equalling wins with the Peugeot 206 WRC. In 2005, Marcus Grönholm’s winning average speed is a WRC record-high 122.86 kilometres per hour. After Markko Martin in 2003, Sébastien Loeb joins the list of non-Nordic winners with first place in 2008.After Mikko Hirvonen triumphs in 2009, Jari-Matti Latvala does likewise in 2010, 2014 and 2015. Sébastien Ogier takes his only win in Finland in 2013. Esapekka Lappi gives Toyota its first win since Juha Kankkunen in 1993 by coming home first in 2017. Ott Tänak claimed two more Toyota victories in 2018 and 2019.Thank you for going through 70 years of history with us. There’s still a lot of pages to write in Rally Finland’s book. The next one will be about the 70th edition. May it be sensational and unforgettable! 🙌🏼#SectoRallyFinland #WRC #70Years #SectoAutomotive #Jyväskylä #VisitJyväskyläRegion #LakelandFinland #KeskiSuomenLiitto #Toyota #Laukaa See MoreSee Less

Rally Finland
What is your best memory of the 90s at Rally Finland? 🧐The decade was marked by Tommi Mäkinen’s winning streak taking the victory on home soil five years in a row from 1994 to 1998. In the same decade, Juha Kankkunen took his tree Rally Finland’s victories in 1991, 1993 and 1999. In 1997 and 1998, Rally Finland had the honor to welcome the Finnish star Teemu Selänne who finishes in a honorable 24th place on his 2nd participation. #SectoRallyFinland #WRC #70Years #History #Nineties #SectoAutomotive #Jyväskylä #VisitJyväskyläRegion #LakelandFinland #KeskiSuomenLiitto #Toyota #Laukaa See MoreSee Less
